the Highlands.

The Neighborhood

Why we build here.

No part of Denver holds more of our completed work than the Highlands. Across LoHi, Sunnyside, and West Highland we've delivered more than a dozen projects — the Zuni Row Homes, paired homes on Hooker and Irving Streets, custom builds on West 32nd and along the quiet blocks off Tennyson.

These are walkable, Victorian-era blocks where new construction has to earn its place: small lots, alley access, mature trees, and neighbors who care what gets built next door. It's exactly the kind of infill building we've made a core competency — tight sites, clean modern design, and a build process that respects the block.

City & County of DenverPlan review, permitting, and inspections run through Denver — we handle the full process, from zoning confirmation to certificate of occupancy.
Infill & Scrape ExpertiseSmall-lot builds, alley-loaded garages, and scrape-and-build projects inside established blocks are our bread and butter here.
Townhome & Paired-Home ReadyFrom single custom homes to row-home clusters like Zuni, we've built the full range this neighborhood's zoning allows.

Good to Know

Questions, answered.

Does Renovar build in the Highlands / LoHi?

Yes — the Highlands holds more of our completed work than any other Denver neighborhood: the Zuni Row Homes, paired homes on Hooker and Irving Streets, and custom builds across LoHi, Sunnyside, and West Highland.

Can you build on a scrape or teardown lot in the Highlands?

Yes. Much of our Highlands work is scrape-and-build infill. We handle demolition, site work, and the Denver permitting process that comes with replacing an existing structure.

Do you build townhomes as well as single-family homes here?

Both. Our Highlands portfolio spans single-family customs, paired homes, and multi-unit row homes — we build what the lot and the zoning support.

Who handles permits for a Highlands build?

We do. Plan reviews, permits, and inspections through the City & County of Denver are part of every Renovar project — the paperwork is cleared before construction starts.
